More news.. of sorts. :)

haha .. it appears that someone atleast wants more news.

Well, let me see what I can come up with ..

I passed my last lot of uni assessment. That has to count for something right? I even got a credit in one of them.

What else .. Oh, I started my job today .. so far it was a pretty relaxed day. Mostly because I didn't have username and passwords to get into the systems yet :)

Doesn't look like I get external email or anything though, which given the amount of work I saw people doing today could be a good thing. I'd have to get sidetracked with emails and not get my share of the work done.

And now I'm off to get some more work done. I have a heap of assessment due friday, and given I work friday, it has to be finished before I leave for work Friday.

Oh what fun! :)

Catch up time..

So, alot has happened since my last entry.

Piper had her surgery - which went good.
Xmas shopping - at Chermside at 1am. Got home a lil after 6am. Was great!
Jaelyn turned 3 on xmas eve.
Christmas - Which went good, had the in-laws over to our house this year, was a good day.
Christmas at mums - went away for four days to spend christmas at mum house, with my parents and my brother. Was good.
New Years - haha, lots of alcohol, and plenty of fun, custard, bits of nudity and a huge breakfast of bacon, eggs, and pancakes the next day.

That brings me to this last week. I've spent this last week studiously working on my uni first assessment submission. I have submitted:
1. Essay - 1000 words.
2. Learning log - made up of one reflective journal entry re studying at university, 5 exercises (multiple point) and reflective comments about each, and two reading reviews combined with reflective and critical comments.
3. LITE results - the result of 5 online quizzes.

I must say, god it feels good. It's the first hurdle, and I got over it. On time too. Admittedly, I did leave things a little late, and I hope to rectify that method in the future, but I did it.

I submitted my first big piece of assessment. And I love the sense of achievement I now have.
