Looong Weekends.

Was a long weekend. After a huge family brekky of .. mcd's .. we all helped my sister in law Sammies move on Saturday. Was .. tiring. heh. We were supposed to go out Saturday night. The Sammies and the Inksta had volunteered to look after the gurls, so the Lemming and I could go out to see a moofie, but I zonked. Was out for four hours give or take. We decided to do a raincheck heh.

So, yesterday I decided it was finally time to sit down and learn Tarot. I had printed out all the stuff the weekend before that I'd need. A tutorial, and some layouts n stuff. 100 or so pages. Saved me alot of money. It was fun. I ran through a few One Card Tarot readings as well as part of the tuturoial, and it was intrigueing to see some of the responses that came up were surprisingly accurate.

But, I decided last night, that I'd make a little bag out of some of the material I have here. So that I could store them. So I dug out the material, and the necessary items to make it. Only to realise that my sewing machine is actually kinda sorta buried under alot of junk atm.

Did this stop me from making my little bag? Nope. I just handsewed it. Yes. Hand sewed it. If the spelling is incorrect, deal with it. :)

After that, I also got some of my other fabric, a tartan fabric I'd bought, cause I Love tartan fabrics, and I'm gonna make me a skirt. My cards are now wrapped and deposited away inside their little bag. Complete with a draw string ribbon.

I will get a photo when I can borrow a camera to do so.

And then there's today. We decided a few weeks ago that we would reduce Jaelyn's days at daycare. It's just costing us too much otherwise. So we reduced them, as of this week, to Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays. So this of course meant that she was at home with me today. I expected her to throw a tanty when she saw her sister and her daddy leave this morning, but she was remarkably calm. Didn't even go near the front door.

Secretly, I'm still waiting for her to throw the tanty.

She's been pretty good. Of course, atm, she's refusing to have a nap, but this is the usual routine. I ask, she says no.

I finally did as I was nagged to do, and conned the Lemming into upgrading my MT. Hopefully this resolves some of my frustrations with losers who spam my comments.

I havn't yet gotten around to figuring out just what kind of new layout I want. I keep looking at it, and going no, that's too long a job, I'll do that another day. And another day arrives, and the cycle repeats. Funny how that happens.

And now, I'm off to try to get the rugrat to have a nap. I'm sure I will indeed fail. But it's worth a shot.
